go Mavs!!! the world will be a better place to live if Dirk will have a ring, and i always liked Jason Terry also!
People don't like him because he acts like a spoiled jackass with an ego inflated to the moon to match. He thinks he's owed every call (and btw let's not forget Dwayne Wade either, and his eyeball that got poked out by Dirk in game 3), he frequently gets away with alot of bull contact (thx Tim Donahue), traveling, double dribbling, you name it. It's a mockery of the game of the basketball what this guy gets away with on a regular basis. The only good thing about Lebron James is being able to watch him lose basketball games, which is what I look forward to every time he laces em up.
As for his character remember he wouldn't shake hands with the magic? How he & Nike made some poor cameramen hand over their film of him getting dunked on at his own basketball camp? How he made his FA decision a national media event to the humiliation of the cavalier organization? I'm sure there are dozens of others I'm leaving out so to act completely dumbfounded why there is so much hate for the guy is disengenuous at best.

I hate the Mavs (PUKE)....but I hate LeChoke more. I just don't like how he has been so overly hyped since HS. The guy has the stats, except in clutch time, but he has no rings...still the media and the league has catered to his every whim. It makes me sick. He is all about himself, look at me, see what I did, I farted did you smell it, etc. Oh and if it is true that he is struggling cause his chick got poked by Lewis, good. It just shows how mentally and emotionally fragile that prima donna really is. His whole life he has been surrounded by yes people. Well Delonte, Lewis, the Spurs, the Celtics, and the Mavs have said NO, NO, NO, and all he did was crumble into the fetal position, soaked in his own piss, with his thumb in his mouth. This is what happens when we don't make our youth struggle for what they want sometimes....when they become adults, they act like sad little es when the hits the fan....they become utterly useless.
Ok, now that my rant about LeChoke is done.....I hate Dirk (only cause he flops after every shot, and never seems to miss against the Spurs), Terry (dirty s bag nutpuncher), Cuban (annoying, whiny, narcissist), JJ Burrito (just cause he is an annoying little Puerto Rican chihuahua) and Kidd (wife beater and alien baby maker).....but they are still a Texas team and their green jerseys look pretty sweet. So keeping the le in the West and especially bringing it back to Texas would be nice.
So as much as I hate the Mavs (PUKE)....I hope they beat the Heat and keep the Queen ringless.
he is spoiled, arrogant, and has been handed everything. when he actually had to work for something, he couldnt take the pressure and left. he went to the Heat, cause he knew that he didnt have to work as hard and carry the load. Also, the blame wouldnt be solely on him. He is a mental coward. Whenever you have nothing but YES people around you your whole life, and whenever you are handed everything you want, you don't build character. He has no character. What builds character? STRUGGLE, especially when we are young. FAILURE, especially when we are young. If you struggle and fail, it builds your character and your resolve. If you have to constantly fight to succeed and to win, then you become mentally tough...and you also become humble (most of the time). He walks around like he is owed the entire world. He acts as if his don't stink, when it fact is smells worse than the foul stench rising from the Meadowlands. Everytime he gets punked, he acts like a spoiled brat and pouts. Then he lashes out with immature, childish behavior.
I have never seen a grown man, who is supposed to be a star act this way. I know he will win a ring someday, if not this year...but I would love it, if the guy never won one, simply because he is the biggest, over the top ass clown the NBA has seen in years.
Don't get me wrong Im no Lebron rider but give the guy a break. And most of you who claim to "hate" all of the immaturity Lebron shows. . . well u are no better. I mean really hating a guy just because he acts a certain way on the court or to the media is no excuse to hate someone and ur just as immature as him to operate as such. It took him 6 years of molestation in Cleveland to realize he isnt clutch or big time. He knows this better than any of us and thats why he made the move to go to the heat. And u should be well aware that the media is gonna blow anybody up who has potential to be great (derant, westbroke, griffin, kobe ect.) and lebron is their golden boy, he sells the most merchandise, he gets them the highest ratings, and he gives them the most publicity with his personal life. If u havent come to the realization that the NBA is a business first, entertainment second, and a sport last then ur lost. Whoever is gnna make them the most money and get them the highest ratings is gnna be rewarded until people get tired of it and then they find themselves a new marketing tool. I say deal with it and pull whatever it is out of ur ass and dont hold grudges. Its just a game. And think of it like this u claim to hate him so much and yet ur watching and analyzing his every move. If u really didnt care about him u wouldnt be worried about if he is gonna win or not . . . u wouldnt even watch the NBA for that matter so i say grow up. Once again i could really care less who wins because the spurs are out but if i had to choose it would be Miami
Well according to your logic if people will pay to see Lebron lose and cement his legacy of being a sackless ego driven then that's what the nba should promote and endorse as well. It's all business after all, right? Nothing to get your panties all in a twist about.
My point exactly. People paid good money to see Ewing and Barkley lose same different toilet i suppose. Let the best team win and at this point Dallas is looking like the better team
Dirk and Kidd deserve rings. Terry should erase his tattoo, cut his ring in half and give half to Dirk and half to Kidd, and then install a zipper on his mouth to make himself quiet.
They will deserve rings if they win one more game.
as a mavs fan, i just want you to know that even though we've had a huge rivalry with the spurs, i respect the spurs team and its players and everything they've accomplished. and if it was you guys facing off against the evil empire you'd have all my support taking down lechoke and the heat. there's nothing to gloat about, ya'll still have 4 rings, just let us have one? i promise we'll be modest. cheer for the mavs, just this one game.
you could watch the games because you are a basketball fan and it is the only basketball on....even if you hate both teams and the players....
stop trying to act all high and mighty or self righteous....this is a NBA forum and we are here to discuss basketball......it would only make sense for us to watch the damn games. how else would we discuss anything?

Did you see the videos of LeBron and DWade mocking Dirk before the last game? Wade pretending to have a cough, and LeBron talking about how going from 85 degrees to 90 degrees really messes with you? As if Dirk was faking sick to explain why he was going to lose the game that night?

Lebron and his cabal is the worst thing to happen to the NBA, so if they win it validates what they did. They need to lose and the NBA wins.
Dallas used to be my least favorite team ever but that dissapeared during this playoffs when I realized most of the players I hated are gone (Stackhouse, Harris, Howard, Dampier). Too bad Jason Terry is still there.
With that said, I've been cheering for the Mavs harder than I've ever cheered in a non Spurs game in 18 years.

I wonder how many people in this thread will go back to hating the mavs when Terry does his typical cheap dirty foul on Manu or Tony during a regular season game. I will definitely bump it when that happens.
