TD has the most tongue rings by age 35 in NBA history.
Considering he had it in college, he doesn't, moron.

    Baylor: Not a big man.

Hayes played in a much weaker era.

Ewing played 26 games that year.

Dream shot 48%, which is poor for an NBA center.

Barkley shot 48% and played 36 minutes a game. He also doesn't play any defense.

    Wilt. Weak era.

Lol Dan Issel. 6.8 boards a game and a defender.

I won't take anything away from Kareem and Malone. But Duncan's stats aren't much of a deviation from the other players. I know your re ed brain immediately focused in on PPG, without considering shooting percentage, pace of the era, the system the player is in, or how good they play defense, but in reality, Duncan is still a very capable big at 35, just as capable as any big to ever play the game at that age aside from Kareem and Malone.
    Dont disagree 100% but ...

    1. Barkley was playing a whole lot on the perimeter by then so 48% is not bad when you are taking 3's and jumpers. Chuck deserves credit for expanding his game.

    2. True Ewings sample size was small but he was shooting a lot of high post jumpers at that age as well.

    3. I agree Baylor was not a big man but much like Chuck he played like one ...

    4. And agree with Mid's point, Malone (despite choking) and Kareem are freaks of nature. Not many 35 year olds can match those two ...

Mailman delivered 27 per at age 35 and played just as many games (maybe more) than TD did at that age. I'm sure Utah never went lottery in the Stockton/Malone era so for him to double up TD's offensive production at the same age speaks wonders about him as an athlete. Or, does this feed into my theory: the refs made TD. When he no longer had the athletic ability to pull his WWE stunts, 13/8 became a reality. Now I'm afraid 13/8 is his permanent ceilingPERIOD. Understand, man?
