Giants have been more lucky than good this season. They won a lot of close games so the odds were against them especially against a much better team. Giants weren't a top 5 team in the conference and definitely aren't better than the Cowboys. Odds are against them to make the playoffs.

It's not. The Giants are in great shape at 6-3. They gave this game away, but they are mentally tough. Eli Manning has really turned a corner despite failing to score on that final drive (Thanks to Manningham's dumbass). Eli is a great leader. This Giants team is tough to beat. They don't lie down and they fight. Coughlin is a great coach. I love him and hope they sign him to a long term deal soon.

This game says more about the Giants than it does about the 49ers. San Fran is just playing way way way over their heads. This is a fluke 8-1 start. They will be 1 and done in the playoffs. That team isn't really all that good. The Giants have an elite QB, elite D, elite passing attack, an elite head coach, an improving running game, and a fantastic front office.
That elite D wasn't so elite. Giants were able to run some on them and Eli had over 300 yards passing.

The Niners are 8-1 and the Giants are 6-3. The Niners beat the Giants head to head. The Niners are better than the Giants.
Niners have a +95 point differential compared to the Giants +7. You tell me which team is the real fluke. Niners are going to the playoffs. Giants probably won't get in. Niners run the ball better, have a much better defense, and better receivers.
Meanwhile..the hot and rolling Cowboys are one game back and have two games against NY coming up. NY may go from one of the best teams in the league to out of the playoffs.
