Who gives a what the number is? My question is why these pro atheletes get married at all. They all cheat. Every last one of them. The chicks that marry them get exactlly what they deserve. They want the lifestyle and money. Plus they have plenty of time for side action of their own when hubby is on the road.

Women get married to professional athletes-- some are enamored of the life-- some are excited about it all -- and some truly love the guy. Many of them suspect or know that this comes with the territory, but they either choose to accept it as part of the package or when they figure it out, they stay for the sake of the kids. Some of them think they can handle it, but they find out they can't and leave. Some still love the guy. Others love the lifestyle. Some of them decide to find someone themselves who keeps them company while their husband is off with other women. Some even have agreements. I think that some women convince themselves that as long as he comes home to them, that they can handle all the other meaningless women. I suspect, though, that for many the final straw comes when other people find out specifics. People all assume the guy is sleeping around, but when others talk about particular ones, that they can not handle. They deal with it alone but can not deal with the humiliation when others come to them about it. Some of them stay until they find someone else- which I have discovered is a syndrome of many, many people who stay in awful relationships until the next one is already lined up. I guess they are that afraid of being alone. Vanessa may have finally found someone else with whom to be.
