come on elnono... we all love manu but right there you are exaggerating a little bit
I didn't see the game so no comment on tp game but I saw plenty of games with manu dribbling the ball over in the clutch tbh fwiw
, this is turning into the template of a political thread.

He's not getting that call in Milwaukee. Both you and I know it. Which is the reason you don't keep dribbling and dribbling like a maniac. It was poor judgment from him. It's ok, he can make mistakes sometimes too, you know?
What do you want to know, specifically? Please let me know if you started watching basketball yesterday, so I can know how basic I have to make this.
You could start by googling "penetrate and kick", "defense collapsing on penetration" and "Jennings steals the ball from Parker and seals the game".
Oh and I'm glad the Spurs are losing these games. Last year, the Spurs racked up ridiculous, fluke wins while playing horrible defense all year. They suckered themselves into thinking that they were a better team than they were. They stopped being hungry and they stopped getting better. And in the postseason, they were exposed as a fluke.
If they kept winning when Manu was out, they'd again think they are better than they are. Now that they lost a few, and Pop called them out as the worst defensive team he's ever had -- they'll stay focused, hungry and become a better basketball team.
[Though I still don't think they'll go very far in the postseason.]
I thought even though cow eye made a good effort S-Jax was receiving way too close to the basket and it didnt help we didnt try hard enough to cool him down.
On a side note its mind boggling how Green and Anderson are taking turns into suckin when they are actually needed and can carve a role for themselves.
In order to become a defensive team Pop will have to do something that he has proven unwilling to do: Play the young guys. Leonard, Green, Splitter along with Duncan and Parker?. Parker's horrible but the only option at PG. Dejuan Blair cannot defend to save his life, RJ just as bad if not worse.
I thought our offensive execution to close the game was pathetic, and that included (what I deemed) a poor, hurried jumper by tony, a turnover by tim (bad call, but I don't think it was avoidable) and another turnover by tony (bad call, but I thought it could've been avoided).
Let me say it one more time because it's the third time I say it, but it doesn't seem to register: I thought Tony played a good game overall.
When he steps up and takes a big shot it's interpreted as him being selfish. When he defers to his teammates it's taken as him wilting under the pressure of big moments and not being a leader.
Even if he makes a big shot, it's just assumed that it's a shot he should have made, as if he's due.
There's rarely a situation where he has the blessing of Spurs fan.
To this day I see Spurs fans say his Finals MVP was meaningless because it was against the Cavs.
He could cure a blind Spurs fan but then the Spurs fan would complain because his vision wasn't perfect 20/20.
timvp making thread about Tony's "illments"...
but it's just me that's
![]()
I want to know where you want Manu to on you.
why are you mad? was it the realization your boi Bonner sucks?
Nobody in this team is immune to criticism... that includes Tony
The guy who regularly disagrees with timvp is all the sudden pimping him as Spurstalk's version of Tim Tebow.
"timvp is so right about everything all the sudden because I'm mad at Tony!! He's such a Messiah he had everyone thinking 'Illments' was a word"

You resort to 5th grade posting in a hurry...
Parker's turnovers remain a concern. Also didn't like that he spent time arguing with the officials as the Bucks ran down the court.
Parker can knockdown that clutch jumper but didn't happen. Didn't like that he threw a few late passes but that Blair pass was a sick highlight.
Overall execution by the Spurs left a lot to be desired. Tony Parker is going to have to find his scoring groove. There were flashes of vintage Parker/Duncan duo but tired legs (and bad calls) caught up in the end.
Not that concerned early in the season, I liked Parker's energy, gotta hone it, and he's going to have plenty of opportunities to get back in rhythm with TJ Ford sidelined too
But holy mother ing there's another god damn game tomorrow night. What a ing season
I know you said tp had good game... I just thought your takes about manu funny... but I get your point.
Once again I didn't see the game but from what I've read in the game blog there are some encouraging things to take from this game. TP had apparently a good overall game except for the TOs and the clutch but he scored and we need that, Tim seems to had a nice game, Leonard seems to be for real...
No one else in the League looks as good in New Balances as Matt Bonner does. But he has nothing to do with this.
There's "criticism"... and then there's what regularly goes on here.
tbh, I had my disagreements with timvp, but "regularly disagrees"?
You're clearly mad that somebody criticized your new boi Parker. Why?
_Jag wrong bout Ginger
One of the many differences between you and me is that when I post like a 5th grader, I do it intentionally.
He had a stretch in the 2nd quarter also where he sucked, tbh. But overall he had a good game. Jennings really wasn't a factor until pretty much the end.
But what do I know... I*HATE* Tony Parker!!!!! He cost us the game!!!
Yeah, it's 2012 and Manu is hurt again leaving Tony as the only guy that can create his own offense. Y'all are getting ridiculously sad with the constant Tony Parker bashing and hate.
When he creates for his teammates and struggles offensively, he sucks. When he's attacking, scoring and creating offense for Timmy and others but forcing passes leading to turnovers, he sucks. The poor guy can't with some of you.
When will y'all understand that Tony and Manu play off of each other perfectly, and don't have this petty at ude y'all have? I doubt they would be nearly as successful without one another.
Your commitment to it is commendable then...congrats.![]()
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Agree 100%
What do TP and CPS have in common?
Answer: They are both damned if they do and damned if they don't
I can only hope you're joking about Bonner. I have always disliked Bonner.
And Parker isn't my "new" boi. That 's old news. In fact, I have a six-cd changer in my car... but I don't even need it. I only keep one CD in there, son. That's right, It's Tony's debut album.
