good win for Condit, but no way was Condit underdog, more of Vegas just wanted Diaz/GSP.

What a sore losing . Maybe if he'd fought instead of acting like a head until round 4 then he wins but its all on him. Its amazing to me to see athletes who are obviously talented and gifted just waste it like that. What a moron.

Whoa, totally disagree. He dictated the terms of the fight, he didn't just survive. He did try to knock him him at least twice, but it didn't do cuz Diaz looked like he didn't feel it.
Expert strategy and execution, if Diaz is upset with the scoring then he should have been quicker to the punch and thrown more strikes.

as I said "he hinted he was going to add more to his attack in the primetime shows" maybe using kicks more than usual was a downfall, should have stayed with his boxing attack. He has never been a long distance fighter.
Diaz shoulda stood right in the center & called him to him to stop all that damn running!
What do expect Condit to do? Sit against the cage and let Diaz punch him?
lol Diaz was pressing most of the fight but couldn't land . Condit landed more and countered effectively. It's about time MMA fans start to appreciate some of the technicalities of the sport.

Ah well... i was hoping Diaz would win to see Diaz GSP... not as interested in Condit GSP.
He won't retire.. Diaz is only 28 and a great fighter that just IMO fought a bad fight. Even fighting badly he was close to winning. I had it 48-47 Condit and looking around seems a lot of people thought Diaz won because Condit backed up the whole fight.. Diaz needed to turn it up more starting in round 3. He'll be back. Fitch/Diaz is a good one to make..
Honestly I've always thought Diaz is overrated, in those "11" wins I saw him lose once... bad judging. Didn't happen here though, I'm glad it was called like it should have been called.
Diaz GSP will still likely happen IMO.. Just not now..
Diaz's retirement is about as believable as Bret Favre's.. He's 28 and only just now making the big money.. He is also easily 3 in that division and can still fight for the le down the road..
Diaz didn't turn it up enough.. But what a chin that guy has.. Condit hits hard and he walked through everything he threw..
