    Duncan in a Game 7
With the scored tied 57-57, the best PF of all time Tim Duncan carried the Spurs on his back despite a physical series against two of the top defensive players in the Wallace brothers. Duncan scored 5 points, dished out 2 assists (both resulted in 3 pointers), and grabbed two rebounds as the Pistons defense swarmed Duncan for one last quarter of basketball.

All in all, he accounted for 11 of the 24 points scored in the 4th quarter, and anchored one of the best defense of the league.

    Kobe in a Game 7

With the Lakers trailing the Celtics 55-57 going into the Final quarter, the Lakers paraded to the foul line time after time, with Kobe Bryant leading the way, going 8-9 on uncontested 15 foot shots. During the time when the clock was finally running, Kobe Bryant, arguably one of the top 5 shooting guards in the history of the league, went an astonishing 1-4 from the field, shooting almost half as many FGs as FTs in the period, and had one assist in the period that ended up with a 3 pter from Ron Artest, directly leading to 13 of the 28 points scored by the Lakers. He also got some help from Pau Gasol, who scored 9 points and dished out 2 assists (ending up with 5 points).

It is an amazing game in which 16 of the 28 points scored by the Lakers in the 4th quarter were from the FT line, while the Celtics made 5 of 6 in the same period, in the same game, officiated by the same officials, in an equally physical game when the two teams had very similar FTA throughout the series.
    10 points = 10 points
layups, jumpers, freethrows..they are all points
Kobe also grabbed 4 rebounds in a row in a stretch in the 4th quarter

Of course 10 points = 10 points, just point out the Lakers have this uncanny ability to get to the line during playoff elimination games despite being a mediocre FT team during the season and the playoffs.

Only Kobe fans would think 10 points on 2 attempts is equal to 10 points on 20 FGA. "It's 10 points that's all that matters!"

Kobe drew 3 fouls early in the 4th. Then another Laker drew a foul. 4 fouls early in the 4th = penalty. Cs were in the penalty very early in the 4th. They kept reaching in and fouling Lakers plus towards the end of the game they had to foul because they were down 6 with under a minute left. It just goes to show you how valuable Kobe was in the 4th because he almost got the Cs in foul trouble by himself.
