- The 2 top 5 players are redundant to each other, stylistically, which limits their abilities when they are playing together
- Weak supporting cast
- Apparent lack of motivation(as evident by last year's playoff run, after an inconsistent regular season)

Rose is simply faster, stronger, bigger, and more athletic than anyone else at the PG spot. I think youd be hard pressed to find a PG that outplays him in an individual match-up for a whole series, and Id even include Paul in that statement. The way he destroyed Parker in their match-up earlier, despite Parker having an MVP caliber season and having just lit up Westbrook for 40+, shows how far ahead of the pack Rose is physically.
Hes also shown to be a solid player in the playoffs/clutch (when not guarded by the best player on the planet).

Over their 4 year careers Rose is shooting a higher FG percentage than Love (Which either shows how good Rose is or how poorly Love shoots for a big man), Rose has never missed the playoffs with Chicago whereas Love has never made it with Minnesota.

Well, Love is 6'10'', a better shooter and impacts the game in more areas than Rose.

We're talking about right now, not 4 years ago. Making the playoffs has more to do with the team than the individual player. for ex: the Bulls without Rose are a playoffs team.
