There are people who are critical of the Spurs, who I still respect. She isn't one of them.
I would say she is a hack, but it would be insulting to all the hacks out there. She says "if this sports thing doesn't work out" she will go to LA to write for The Young And The Restless. I think she's onto something. She has no business reporting sports.
Remember her getting suspended for this gem? "Rooting for the Celtics is like saying Hitler was a victim. It's like hoping Gorbachev would get to the blinking red button before Reagan. Deserving or not, I still hate the Celtics." Then she was suspended again for telling Green Bay fans to give Favre the "Duracell treatment" - as in throw batteries at him. And then later wrote that John Calipari was like Charles Manson?
Making her a national reporter for ESPN was some kind of social experiment that should have been abandoned long ago. She adds nothing to the sports she reports on, and gives no value to the fans. Her only claim to fame is writing outrageously stupid to increase hit count. I'm not mad that she said that about Pop - it's what she does. I just don't like her taking a job away from a competent sports writer.

If she was saying good things about the Spurs, suddenly Spurs fans would love her.
