So when you said "There's no logical reason why Russell Wilson can't be as good as Andrew Luck this season" you were wrong, because the fact his height is a disadvantage is a logical reason why he won't be as good as Luck.
Not at all, I already answered it.
Very smart kid, a leader, mobile, great arm. The scouts saw him as too short, I don't'
Dude, do I need a crayon when dealing with you?
So when you said "There's no logical reason why Russell Wilson can't be as good as Andrew Luck this season" you were wrong, because the fact his height is a disadvantage is a logical reason why he won't be as good as Luck.
As I already said, we'll see how dangerous Russell Wilson's mobility is when he's not going against slow ass, corn fed Big 10 defenses. The linebackers he outran in college will be child's play compared to the linebackers he'll be trying to outrun in the NFL.
Has he ever shown that his height was a disadvantage? Hasn't Drew Brees shown you don't have to be a tall QB? When Fran Tarkenton retired he owned all the passing record he was aroundthe same size as Wilson.
Hopefully you really know better than....whoever is drafed higher should....you were just funnin' right?
Did Troy Smith ever show his height was a disadvantage at Ohio State? You JUST SAID it's a disadvantage, now you're saying it's not. Which is it?
Drew Brees and Fran Tarkenton are the exceptions, not the standard. It's intellectually dishonest to pretend successful short QBs haven't been few and far between in the NFL.
Whoever is drafted higher SHOULD end up being better than a player at the same position drafted later. It doesn't always work out that way but it's re ed to say draft status doesn't matter.
Finally...I'm talking...FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...said something that makes sense. I agree!
However...
I'm not talking about another Micheal Vick, just a guy who can move. He isn't stuck in the pocket, he does have options.
Obviously this height thing is more about the individual than some blanket trying to cover everyone.
How do we know Brees and Tarkenton were the exceptions?
Are you really serious about this draft thing? The Niners passed over Aaron Rodgers for Alex Smith, I really could write a big ass book proving that sort of dradft thinking totally wrong.
Dude, trust me you are as wrong as wrong will ever get if you really believe that. And if you push me I wil give you so many examples of how wrong that has been over the years you will not read all of it.....trust me you are 100% wrong.
Wilson is damn good. If you don't think so you need to watch some of his games.
What did Russell Wilson do at Wisconsin that Troy Smith didn't do at Ohio State?
He is a black QB with a chimp brain who is destined to fail. If you think that will change, you need to open your eyes.
That 49ers D is going to salivate over seeing Sambo under center![]()
bluegum QBs
Last year a black QB did things no other rookie QB had ever done.
We have a black QB with more TD/Yards than...
Johnny Unitas
Drew Brees
Joe Montana
Jim Kelly
Terry Bradshaw
Joe Namath
Fran Tarkenton
Kenny Stabler
Dan Fouts
Troy Aikman
Roger Staubach
Black QB winning the Superbowl
Three black QB's playing in the Superbowel
Now who here besides myself can name 20 black NFL QB's?
That same QB regressed in the 2nd half of the season and also was miserable in a Pro Bowl where QBs usually light up. The Saints played Cam in week 5 and week 17 and Newton was much more impressive in week 5. Week 17, he was roadkill for an awful Saints defense.
Everyone says this and it's just simply not true.
Andusing the pro bowl to judge any player.
When Spook Newton becomes more than a stat on a ty team his impressive numbers might mean something, until then I don't really see how him lighting the scoreboard up when his team is down by multiple possessions is such a big deal.
Cam had them in a lot of games they really had no business being in last year. Panthers are gonna need a lot more pieces before they can challenge for a SB, though
I do like them to get a wild-card this year, however
The NFC South is gonna be tough. Atlanta and New Orleans are still really good (even though Atlanta still thinks Matt Ryan is Peyton Manning), and the Bucs are gonna be better with a real coach instead of Raheem "All I do is yell African battle cries during the huddle" Morris.
DoK per par
Panthers are my surprise pick. Just like Detroit was last year. Not trying to hug Cams nuts, I just think they made huge strides while Atlanta (due for a bad season) and TB ( ty QB) will not be able to get it done. Plus, I'm not real sure New Orleans will be able to handle all the off-the-field stuff (still picking em' to win, though). Brees is a pimp
Panthers need to play better D, and that's basically what it comes down to for them being in the playoffs or not. They'll score plenty of points. Rivera has to stop running Cam so much, though. This ain't college and he will get hurt if they run the same exact offense as last year
Hey, you're a ing idiot
Hey, you're a ing idiot.
But he threw a game winning interception against the Packers on MNF. ROTY![]()
There is no logical reason at all not to see Wilson right there with Luck and RGIII as a rookie in the NFL.
The season started off with Bob Griffin leading for ROTY, Luck had a stretch when he was leading, and with the past couple games (Indy's blowout loss to NE and the Redskins winning their last few) Bob is back in the lead. ROTY will probably be determined by if Luck gets in the playoffs and Bob doesn't. Where has Russell Wilson fit into any of this?
Wait for him to pull the "well he has more wins than RG3 and possibly luck! card"
