The reality is that, Kobe is a marketing tool. Anyone with a brain would know the business aspect of the NBA is what made kobe bryant today, an overated chucker that shots 43% from the field ; a glorified paul piecre nothing more. Give me one championiship that kobe has won which he was clearly the number 1 option in all the series he played You Wont find one, you just cant.
And I am fairly positve that most kobe fans, and i say kobe fans have zero understading of basketball. In all my life wacthing sports basketball, Soccer, Football etc. I have never seen someone so glorified by the media. there are only two Reason Why some people regard him above duncan and shaq

Duncan has been better than Kobe. We're talking about both sides of the court, wins, talent level (or lackthereof) surrounding them during winning or championship seasons, etc.
Duncan's performed better than Kobe, and managed 4 les with far less talent than Kobe. Not to mention Duncan has at least been the best player on his team for all 4 of his les, whereas Kobe was arguably only the best player on his team for one or two of them (last 2).
Kobe's being put on a pedestal for PPG and for playing in LA. that noise. Not to mention he's only ranked above Shaq because the "list" starts as soon as Kobe's career starts shining, and negates 2 solid Duncan years and 7 dominant Shaq years. If they just did it "post-Jordan", there's no way in Kobe's ahead of Duncan on any logical list. 5 isn't greater than 4 when you're 2nd fiddle for 3 of those 5. It's 2 and 3 halves vs 4. Though Duncan should probably get more than just "1" in credit for that 2003 le too, where he carried one of the least talented teams to a le. Best 3 players other than Duncan on team were either A: about to retire after that season, or B: had 1 and 2 years respectively of NBA experience as 28th and 57th picks in the draft. In other words, every team in the league passed on one of them, and every team in the league passed on the other one twice. Duncan still thugged himself a le.
