We don't WANT to see them there!!! This is about REAL PEOPLE and we don't need a bunch of "movie stars" cheapening it!!!! What I love about the San Antonio Spurs is that it's a team that is supported and loved by ordinary, local people. We don't need a bunch of ridiculous celebrities parading around. Save that for the Lakers.
Wow, such vehement responses to my last post. I respectfully withdraw my request that Austin celebrities come to the Spurs games unless they are rabid fans. In fact, if I see that poser McConnaughey ever wearing Spurs gear he's going to ing die.
Penny Marshall was a huge DRob fan. Even contributed to his retirement ceremony. Not sure why, maybe she had the hots for him.

She's a diehard basketball fan. She spends most of her time in Cali. so she has season tickets to the Lakers and goes to a lot of Kings game. But she appreciates great basketball no matter what team is playing. That's why she liked DRob (and now Tim) and why some people think she's a Spurs fan.

If I had the money and a job with a lot of down time, that's what I'd do, too: go to all the Spurs games and travel the country going to any other good games I could get tickets to.
