WTF that can't be real? Looks like 1st degree assault geezus.
Hes jus watchin it commin!!
These are staged!
LET'S GO LAKERS!!!
Sometimes bottom team can win vs top team
The Bobcats beating the Spurs? I don't think that's going to happen.![]()
Lakers
Now grab that 7th seed and beat up OKC in the first round.
Jinx thread for OKC should be made..
z yeah! Would set up a 7 game LA series and the Spurs could beat either team no problem.
Lakers 14-10 at home, 5-15 on the road. Haven't win a road game since December 22 big comeback against warriors... All they did today was do the spurs a favor. They're still gna miss playoffs or get waxed since they can't win on the road
It keeps getting worse.
Gasol has a partial tear of his right plantar fascia and is expected to sit out at least six weeks.-CBS Sports reports
I would much rather see the Lakers have the worst record in the NBA, knowing that they don't have a 1st round draft pick this year.... lottery included
LGL
this thread. FTL. I won't be happy until they're a 13 seed or worse.
You guys really want to go to the mad house that is Miami for games 1, 2, 6 and 7 instead of the three middle games where it's unlikely they win all three in a row?
Heat will be tough with or without HCA.
I want to see the Lakers continue to fail, please.
We'll beat them easily in the 1st round if they manage to surpass Utah/Houston (both teams are currently 4 ganes above .500).
Getting to the finals is not a forgone conclusion, nor should it be an assumption.
Miami's home crowd is terrible, anyway. I don't think they have as much of an advantage as the spurs do playing at home. Their advantage over the Spurs is LeBron, not home court.
And frankly, I have much more confidence that the Lakers will fail this season than that the Spurs will succeed. I'd like them to miss the playoffs with that $100 million roster, and I think there's a fair chance of that happening. I think the chance of the Spurs making the finals is much more remote.
The only instance in which I'd ever hope for a Laker victory is if the Spurs would be nudged into the playoffs from the 9 seed position by the Lakers beating an 8 seed in the last game of the season. That will not happen this season, barring an absolute (unprecedented) collapse by the spurs due to a Tony Parker / Tim Duncan season-ending injury or something.
Beyond that, FTL. The more that team flounders, the happier I will be.
