So basically still holding our breath.
Was very reminiscent of Kobe falling on Andrew Bynum's knee. How did that turn out btw?
So basically still holding our breath.
For damaging something beautiful, he will now forever be known to me as The Vandal Martell Webster, and I shall curse his name.
That doesn't sound good at all. And we have to wait until tomorrow for a possible MRI. Gonna be a tough time to sleep tonight.
Please link to video.
He hasn't had Malone-like durabililty. Missed the 2000 post-season and has had knee problems the past few years. Knee sprain sounds bad, hopefully it doesn't mean an acl tear
wow, 2 sprains? That sucks either way.
.......calling Aron Baynes......
There isn't anybody to blame here, tbh..
We can't say Duncan shouldn't have been playing, he looked healthy and his knee looked good before the injury..Webster just lost his balance and stumbled..these flukish injuries are frustrating and disheartening, especially in meaningless games against tanking opponents..
As others have already stated, I'll be happy if Duncan can make a healthy return by April..
~11 weeks until the playoffs. Anything less than a horrific injury (torn ligament, etc.) and Duncan should probably be back.
Knee sprain for a 36 year old big man is still pretty bad if that's all it is, but yeah Knee sprains turn out to be ACL tears when they do the MRI, but honestly I think the brace might have saved him from that IMO
Assuming that's the case, hopefully it's one of those blessings in disguise type of situations. The team will gel even more, more playing time for Baynes and Duncan wont go into the playoffs running on fumes.
I just hope the diagnosis is right, but I refuse to sigh until the MRI has happened and good news ensues. I'm freaking out.
Let's just wait it out. Will and Dice will do all they can to minimize pain and swelling and then we'll know in the next 48 hours. Ever the optimist, I think the brace did it's job and that he has a sprained knee and is out 2-3 weeks and won't see the court until sometime in March.
That was rough watching live. Bad feeling in my gut, but hoping for a sprain with no damage.
I was already concerned before these sprains. Now it's just depressing.
So now trading Blair is out of the question. Gonna need all the bigman depth while Duncan is out.
Recipe for locker room implosion once Baynes passes him up on the depth chart.
What a freak injury. It just happens and there are no one to blame for it.
I certainly won't go in doomsday mode because I have no idea hos serious it is. Spurs reporting only sprains is a relatively good news but we won't know for sure until the MRI. Wait and see.
Don't tell me timmy gets injured again, it's not funny at all.......
My Goddess oh my goddess
can't believe that
Who the makes Timmy injured?????
