The endless stream of Will Hurd commercials.
Disgusted with the current mantra of: "If we can make them laugh, then we can get them to buy the product! It worked for Old e!" There's only a few companies really doing it right (KFC comes to mind), and the rest are just embarrassing themselves.
That commercial, I believe for Subaru where the parents keep catching the kids with things they should not have, or, be doing:::taking numb chucks camping, cutting her twin sister's hair with clippers, playing with the fire extinguisher, sword fighting with fluorescent tubes, skiing down the upstairs steps, etc. The best one? The kid coming out of the garage with a 9LB sledge hammer. All the others you see the parents say "You're not taking that." On the sledge, you only hear him.
Though the very end is annoying.

But how do you know it's their peer? Couldn't the "friend" be someone above or below their social stature?

The one where the little oriental girl is scared by the dog. So the oriental mother worries, the oriental father orders an item from Amazon and dresses the dog in a lion's type headress and the kid takes to it. The lyrical voice over:::"Even though we're different we're alike." in' horse ,,,it's a goddamn dog and a human being, mother ers.
That one back in the Spring of '13 where they were selling the Spurs . I love that one.
