Never happened. Didn't have more than 4 baskets in any one game, no more than 2 baskets in any one half.

I think 0.4 has caused us to multiply every bucket we ever see Fisher make in a playoff game and to forget every miss.
haha, fine i give up! yes, it felt like he hit a lot, whether or not he really did. but for the shots he did make, the flame in my head burned a little hotter

What a piece of . He lied to the Mavs to quit on them, fed them bull about his family, and now pops up with OKC. That's terrible.

Isn't that the same he pulled with the Jazz?

Just don't have Tiago be scared to score on him and don't have Neal guard him.

If decrepit DFish can be effective vs. Spurs. then spurs deserve all the failure they get.

    In the 4 OKC wins:

    8-24 overall
    2-11 on 3 pointers
Now that I think about it, maybe it was the Harden effect. After all Fisher is an off-ball "point guard" so he'd work best against a ball dominant SG.

Their second unit needs playmaking pronto - then again does OKC have any other plays than "let Kevin and Russ figure out things, they're too athletic to lose anyway"?

In addition to losing Harden, there is also the fact that 3 for 3 Daquean Cook is no longer in OKC. His momentum shots helped the Thunder win Game 5.

Fisher will definitely improve their chances, but let's not act like the Spurs are doomed.

He will still hit an open 3 when it matters. You just know he will. Would rather them roll with Reggie Jackson.
He's got the anti-Bonner gene. In fact it seems like the more important the shot is the more likely he will hit it.

I would love to see DFish try, just try to cover TP or even DeColo or Patty. They would run circles around the old man.
Neal won't run circles around anyone and will fall for all DFish's pump fakes.

    In the 4 OKC wins:

    8-24 overall
    2-11 on 3 pointers
That's the deceptiveness of Fisher's stats. He will look like he can't hit a shot but then when the game is on the line he comes through.

When Fisher enters the game, clear a side and let his cover take him to the hole. There is not one person on our team that he can stay in front of off the dribble, not even our bigs. Bonner could probably break him down.

The irony of Daquean Cook 3-3 is that Sefalosha wouldn't have gotten in foul trouble if Pop hadn't started Manu. Also if Manu doesn't start the rotations make more sense and TP likely wouldn't have been so passive. Manu might have had something left for game 6. Talk about unintended consequences. Pop better avoid the panic moves this time around.

How does Derek Fisher keep getting exactly what he wants? There is a great story to be written about him.
    https://twitter.com/ZachLowe_NBA

I really thought this was a typo, but Derek Fisher is about to sign with OKC. I thought the dude was homesick. #bandwagonman #pantsonfire

This is excellent news for the Spurs, considering Scotty Brooks basically played one of either Thabo or Fisher last year. Hopefully Fisher continues to get minutes over Sefolosha, cause his defense absolutely killed TP's production last year.
Exactly. This guy is a joke, yet he continues to be given a free pass (these tweets notwithstanding) by the national media. Apparently he thinks it's his birthright to play for a contender.

What this and the Brewer acquisition likely signal, is that the Thunder are more likely to begin playing smaller again, with Durant at PF. Look for one or a combination of both to take Thabeet's spot in the rotation at some point.

Okay people, go ahead and make fun or light of a guy who played the last 13 1/2 minutes of a close-out game in last year's Western Conference Finals. I sure won't be doing that.

I won't make fun of Fisher the basketball player. Fisher the human being is another story.

As to Game 6. Durant, Westbrook, and Harden also closed out Game 6 with Fisher while Sefalosha watched from the bench. I don't believe the outcome would have been any different had Sefolosha played alongside their Big 3.

Understood, regarding Fisher the man. Regarding your belief about closing out Game 6, clearly Scott Brooks saw things differently than from your POV. Although Fisher's scoring wasn't the key influence he had on the game(s), he scored as much as any other Thunder player did the last 5 minutes of Game 6.
