spurs are apparently tanking but they ain't doing this to avoid anyone imho. they still have one or two games above OKC so they have the luxury to play with more leisure & less effort. it would be sweet to have HCA all the way through the western playoffs but it ain't worth putting your key players' healths at risk (learning from denver's lessons) tbh.

TBH, I wouldn't be surprised if the Spurs are tanking a couple of games to avoid several teams. I think a lot of people here are underrating the Lakers, which is a huge mistake. When games slowdown in the playoffs, the Lakers can take advantage of their supersized frontline and pound smaller teams to submission. Even if the Spurs get the 1st seed, it'll still take them five or six closely contested games to dispatch the Lakers.
