Yeah we had to cut back quite a bit when we figured I wasn't going back to work. we sold our good car (a '99 Toyota) and then 7 months later our not so good car ('93 Dodge) died... so now we have no car.
but we do have health insurance!!

$200 trips to the salon... I could never do. even if I was filthy rich... I'd just feel guilty afterwards. thats like 2 weeks of grocerys, which is important. My hair is just an affectation. I have a really hard time spending money on myself. It;s a disease.

It's not hard to drop that much at a salon - a cut alone can be over $60, highlights/coloring can go for over $100 ... which is why I get my friend's friend to do my hair now (she was a stylist, but now cuts from home, and it only costs me about $20), and when I was dyeing my hair, Sally's became my good friend.

And I only go probably twice a year ... so that's only about $33/mo. My hair is almost to my ass, even if they are only trimming the ends, anywhere I go they charge me more. And highlites with hair this long is unreal.




I don't think getting spoiled twice a year is too much to ask.

In the fall, I work as a hostess in the Spurs Terrace Club resturaunt.

This Wednesday I have an interview for my possible second job, packaging pictures for a comapny that takes school photos.
The job is full time but the company is willing to let me leave early on Spurs game days.
