Same if Wade comes back into game after halftime, in which he struggled in the first half, and plays well. Got his knee "re-taped"....
You people have to slow down a gear............. Manu is a shadow of what he was, I'll be happy with a solid 15 , 5 , 5 from him with some key plays and about 2 to 3 TO a game.... if you expect Manu to play like all the gifs and videos of yesterday, you'r headed to a big disappointment.
There was a whole LOOOOOOOOOONG thread with pictures detailing a (fake) soap opera-like love triangle between the big three. I think it was back around 2005ish. LOL It got pretty funny in places.
Manu will bring the greatness back for this series, HE WILL SHOW UP! My favorite Youtube video someone posted of him.
Manu is 35 years old, obviously not going to have the level of 2005, but has more experience and willingness to always help the Spurs hopefully get another championship.
Manu leads Spurs in the heart
I'd love Manu to let it all out, since this whole season has been a bit of a tease. But that pass under Tayshaun's legs to Corey Joseph was a reminder of how unpredictable and good he can be. Hopefully this rest has served him well.
may the deceased body of Ginobili come out of the grave for 1 more dance
the haters
We can dream big that's what moments like the finals are all about!
I think we all know how he's played-we know he's been turnobili and inconsistent mixed with flashes of old Manu.
But he's had a of a long rest, he says he's feeling great, he's the winningest player if you include international and olympic play. I mean the guy knows what it takes to win and he can go balls to the walls-it's the finals.
Let's Believe in Manu one last time for old time's sake. Here's to you SuperManu!!
Manu has made me curse his name this year more than any since he's been a Spur. When he's been bad or off, he's been terrible. But even through all the no look turnovers, off-balance - falling backwards passes, insanely bad 3 pts shots...he hasn't stopped playing his ass off. He gives everything he has when he is on the court and still wants to win more than anything. So...even if he doesn't score like he used to, I can always count on him trying to take a charge, keeping the ball movement going, snagging big rebounds and making the defense play honest.
My concern for game 1 is shaking off the rust. Hopefully the fresher legs will prevail at the end. I don't care how small the margin of victory, I just want the Spurs to win. Just win. It starts now, and not when we get back to San Antonio for the 3,4 & 5. Start winning now.
Still making bad decisions I see like tonight during clutch time but at least he did a little bit more good tonight. I really miss the old Manu.
really good game by Manu tonight
those p&r plays with Duncan and the pg duties with the second unit were great
Disagree.
Not even average, but...the intangible WAS THERE.
I missed this during the game, tbh.![]()
I saw that live, but I'm so used to crazy Manu passes that I didn't even mention it in the game chat![]()
Caught that live. I was like... HOLY SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII... when I witnessed that insaneness.

Exquisite pass by Manu indeed.![]()

That pass by Manu to Bonner was stupid IMO. Yes, it was incredibly skillful, but the reward was nothing. Bonner was not shooting, really didn't have the space to, so nothing good could really come from that.
. I didn't even notice it went through Cole's legs. That could've easily been a turnover.
*sigh* Whine, whine, whine, , , , moan, moan, moan. It just never stops.
San Antonio Spurs, the most bipolar fan base in the nba
