Really weak troll effort or sarcasm? I'm unsure.
I'm absolutely certain nobody is this stupid.

Yeah nobody here ever suggested that the Spurs must draft an american instead of an international player with a "strange name".

I just listen to a TP press conference where he said that Livio tore his cruciate ligaments. Given the surgery and 6 months recovery time, it can only be an ACL tear.
Livio Jean-Charles had his ACL surgery today and is out for 6 months.
Some details:
- The surgery was made in Lyon by Dr Bertrand Sonnery-Cottet, a well known french surgeon. One of Spurs doctor was there.
- He will have the first stage in a rehab center in France and end it in San Antonio.

International scouting was really in its infancy in 01' and 02' we really got lucky. I'm not sure Splitter's cir stances but i'd imagine the reason why a former league MVP of the Spanish league (considered second to the NBA) went at 27th was because he was 22 and had a contract that made it difficult to bring him over for a couple of seasons.
Most GMs and teams, really, can't afford to let a 1st round pick stay over seas so long. The Spurs did and it payed off.
the bold part is my favourite
He'll be back before D-Rose tbh.
playblair blair didn't have the acls, but at least he was a draft and play.
draft and stash ain't looking so nice lately. let's hope nando bumps up the curve.
and hairston would be an awesome pick up... don't let all the hate get you down DrSteffo
Yeah let's go after a Hairston caliber player in next year's draft. At least we can all pronounce his name contrary to crazy names like "Tony" or "Manu".
