most of my extended family is in aleppo, but i have lots of friends in damascus, and homs as well.. they just tell how they see it, and their story is totally different from what i hear on tv, and i am in constant dialogue with them.

it is very hard to move about syria, let alone communicate.. you do not know how dangerous the situation is, so please quit talking like you have a clue whats going on, and do some research. Why is Qatar aka (al jazeera) Saudi (al arabiya) and all the american run media pushing so hard for assad to get out.. If this oppression has been happening for 40 years, why are they helping know.. two words my friend.. "Natural Gas" go and read about it. The West's military campain started when israel began bombing syria.

Mostly FP and CSM. My point is that there are no reliable estimates in the press and your smattering of unobjective family members is not qualified to say what is what across the country. And the moment you start the MSM bull just adds fuel to the notion that you require things dumbed down to understand them. What you consider MSM is hundreds of independent news outlets. Just like you need to consider 'rebels' as a singular apparently you lack the capacity of nuance in regards to the america press.

I tell people here all the time, but they are so ing brainwashed by the media its sick. They cant think for themselves. The situation is bad, all the major roads are cut off, supply is limited, random artillery or mortar fire from god knows where, war planes constantly flying over head, no internet, sometimes no phones, electricity is cut of for weeks, water for days, no heating because oil and diesel are so expensive, gas is 80$ a gallon.. i mean the list goes on for ing ever.
