I don't think there's an 'outlook' for the 2012-13 season...it's over...we lost...time to turn the page.
What I do expect/hope is that the Spurs will play with the knowledge and confidence that they can absolutely make it back to the Finals, and absolutely win it all this year. My thought is that the West has gotten a little weaker. I think the Clippers will be tougher, and Houston might be better. Golden State will be on par with last season, same for Memphis, but we'll see a little decline from OKC. The Lakers and Mavs could be the spoilers if either of those teams gets going towards the end of the year. You know LA will go after a player or two mid-stream if they're not where they want to be by mid-season, and Dallas was injury plagued last year, and I always feel they're tough with Dirk no matter how much Cuban tries to mess that team up.
It's going to boil down to who's healthy and who's not at year-end, but if SA can go through next post season at full strength...a GIANT if, then I'd say our chances of winning it all are as good as anyone else's.
I think Miami might get beat in the Eastern PO this year...not sure why, just a feeling.
