He's probably right. And still an outside shot to be the GOAT. Probably top 2-3 though.

That said, why is he such an insecure little who needs affirmation after affirmation from anyone? At the end of the day, his play on the court and his career accomplishments will speak for themselves. And it should be left to just that.

When it comes to praise seeking and self promotion, he's a grade A vagina.
What Jam said ...a case can already be made for GOAT SF ...(he is mine). With more rings he has a outside shot at Mj still. I actually like his confidence, because at times he seems insecure wish he would show it in a dunk off with Blake and if he had it sooner Heat would be chasing a 4peat not a 3.

I don't understand why people keep saying Lebron needs X amount of rings to surpass Dad Killer as GOAT, tbh..

If you're using rings as your argument, then shouldn't Bill Russell be your GOAT with Robert Horry in 2nd?..
Don't be dense. When you talking Goat rings matter is Horry or BR in GOAT convo?

If it was close I would agree but as great as Bird was Lebron is better.

winning rings doesn't make you a better player. its not like lebron woke up the morning after game 7 and was suddenly a better basketball player. they are merely validators of greatness, which is why each successive ring matters less in a player's legacy. winning the first is the most important, and you take it from there.

he needs to win more to have a more accomplished career than Bird, i'll grant you that.

That Horry argument is so tiresome... Anyone with a brain knows the ring count counts for those that are alphas when winning the le.

If he gets 2 more rings he's in the top 5 somewhere. To pass MJ will be very difficult because MJ has so many accolades that Lebron will probably never get. Lebron will have to win DPOY, lead the league in scoring 10 times, lead the league in steals a few times, win 6 finals MVP's and 5 regular season mvps. Gtfo out here you must have been born after 1990.

Because it's a combination of numbers + personal accolades + rings and role players just don't stack up in the first 2 departments.

If rings are as worthless as you say, then people can make a case for Malone > Jim.

Jordan played in a very watered down league. Looking back at elite backcourt players during Jordan's days and all you can do is . Lebron's two les rival any of Jordan's les out of sheer difficulty. Lebron has had to finish off teams like the Celtics and the Spurs.

no, they can't..only a moron would need to blindly cite rings to argue Duncan > Malone..

Bill Russell is always mentioned among greats, if you value rings, there's no argument that can go against him as GOAT..

You can certainly cite le runs in your argument, but blindly counting rings is a horrible tool for arguing..

For example, arguing that Dad Killer's le runs in '91 and '92 were the best of all-time is a great argument in his favor, but blindly citing his 6 rings is a terrible argument..

I seriously don't think anything tops Lebron's fury to single handedly get the Heat back in game 6. It's better than anything Jordan has ever done. What an individual stretch of greatness. What a ing beast.
