Wow I read through all this and nobody has even mentioned DayGlo
And don't for get the big t-shirts that said Frankie says "Relax" on it. Man 80s fashion was really terrible.

I think i mentioned earlier... 1980.
Didn't Urkel say 'did I do that?' not 'i've fallen, and i can't get up.'
urkel said both, but the medic alert lady was the og 'fallen and can't get up'
and urkel was 80's? i think not.
cosby was 80's. cheers. nightcourt.
urkel was lame late 90's tgif.
anal beads are still around...
I actually saw a DeLorean downtown. I was waiting at the bus stop to go to UTSA (from UTSA Downtown) and there was DeLorean passing by on Commerce Street. An actual DeLorean, I was laughing...couldn't believe I saw it. It was smaller than I thought it would be.
kerknockers were the ...but they were not anal beads.
they may have been around since the 60's, but i wasn't...not til '74 anyway, so by the time i got to play with them, it was 1980, thus, for me...an 80's toy.![]()
those 2 were some of my fav.s....
I also watched:
Small Wonder
Mr. Belvedere
Charles in Charge
Next weekend (Aug 13-14) is a two day Night Court marathon on TV Land.
yeah I grew up in the 80's! Those were the days...
I'm trying to collect those old toys. I gave away all my old toys when I was younger and some of them my older sister has and won't give them back. But this guy I work with collects alot of that old stuff too and he just sold me a care bears collection a week ago. He kept telling me, you know they are the originals because they have the strand of hair on the top of their heads and the new ones have the molded hair. SOLD!
I saw a Smurfs doll today he sold to someone else and it is sooo old. I wanted it. He's bringing me Jem dolls tomorrow to take a look at to buy. I'll more than likely get em, I'm a sucker for that old stuff!
haha. don't joke, my butt is in bed by 9 pm. Everyone knows not to bother my old ass cause I'm asleep before the sun goes down..Need the ZZ's!
oh yeah, 1979 here.
I didn't even think of selling that stuff! I used to have the Jem doll (the pink hair!!!) and a few stuffed Carebears. OH and some Sherah action figures...man I bet I could make a killing on EBAY! Hopefully my mom put that stuff in storage.
Yeah, he was getting ready to put the dolls up on Ebay himself but heard I was interested. Those things do sell for a lot. I paid close to 30 bucks for the collection and a suitcase he had. My paychecks are just going back to him. lol Put your stuff on ebay and lemme know about it!![]()
HYPERCOLOR!!!
Terrible for a fat kid, but I wore them anyway. Really hot in areas and cold on the sweaty ones.
Does anyone remember "The fall guy", with lee Majors ? I loved that show.
I wanted to be the fall guy.
I wanted to marry the 6 Million DOllar Man.![]()
My kids were watching Napolean Dynamite awhile back and I told them I used to wear my hair in a pony tail to the side and the look on their faces was priceless.
