The refs had a strong influence on the game last night. Kawhi had Durant at 1-7 before getting ed on a stupid call.
It was a double tech on Tim and Perkins. The lead TNT announcer was basically being a Thunder cheerleader the whole game and even he thought it should have been a tech only on Perkins.

refs are always gonna be bad, just gotta take that into account, spurs pulled the foot off the gas, or probably just ran out of gas, but look at the first half, that's prob how a playoff game would be against okc, plus manu, and a bit more effort and taking it serious.
26/30 threads on the front-page about last night's game or the Thunder. And that's NOT counting the Race to the #1 Seed thread.
Over a loss that most of us were expecting in the first place.
Yep, SpursTalk is back to normal, alright.
pretty much this.
OKC was allowed to play beyond physical, barreling through s on steals, and Spurs were getting called for ticky tack bs.
It's a sobering loss but a needed one, Spurs need to realize the intensity and officiating that will occur at OKC.
It's unfair that we should have to not only worry about the opposing team, but also the refs. Life isn't fair, though. I still believe we can beat them in a 7 game series, with or without home court. As long as we win our games at home, I think we can steal a game in OKC.
Second night of a late-season back-to-back on the road against a motivated opponent isn't so easy.
The sad part is they still get those ing calls on the road.
