Are you serious? Patty Mills will be a huge part of why we win some games. Dude came to play this year.

ah...the ol' contrary attention seeking post. You know I've seen you make valid contributions at times, so I do not know why you persist with such rubbish.

You know nearly all those points could adequately describe so many white-bogan filled suburbs filled with single mums and knuckle dragging no-hopers that the irony is somewhat sad.

Pop gives him green light to shoot today. Who cares? Anyhow it was the Mavs, I would have told him to take a 100. Have a look how many Monta took and made.

    was he really 9-25? lol
But 6-11 shooting 3's, which brought his true shooting % over 55%. Plus, he had 6 assist last night, zero TO and really moved the ball well. Just look at Mills +/- and Joseph +/- and that said's it all. One, the Spurs offense still flourishes, the other, it becomes stagnant.

He had the green light to chuck. You think Pop would let someone chuck like that without his permission? The same pop that got rid of Sjax for such a small reason?

Patty is there for his offense.

    patty bailing anyone out

Like ive said only a dumbass would think we won this game because of patty

The spurs would have schooled Dallas if the ball went through Kawhi and Tim
Leonard 5-14. Yeah, let's give him more touches.

I didn't see the game, but the box score said Patty jacked up 25 shots and Kawhi let loose 14 while Manu only shot 4/8 in 29 minutes. A bit strange, tbh... especially since Kawhi and Patty Soto the ball pretty poorly.

Please come back soon Tony, at least we have a better chance if you chuck instead of patty ing mills

    9-25

    Lol

While Leonard and Duncan combine for 26 shots
The alternative being... Corey Joseph, with 0 assists and 0 made shots in 8 minutes of action. I'll take Patty, tyvm.

We NEED both Kawhi and Mills to play like they did for us to have a chance to make it far this year. A good thing to remember is that both of them have had success against our biggest obstacle (OKC) this year. Some people here love leonard but hate Mills. I just don't get it. Whatever it takes to win.

Right now, I'm worried about Marco. He's really hit a shooting slump since the win at home against the Pelicans.

Patty is extremely important to the Spurs. He's the only bench player they have quick and composed enough to run the same sets as Parker, though they usually prefer different shots (Parker tries to get close to the basket while Mills just shoots whenever he sees an opening.)

Re-signing him next season is a must, especially if they're trying to contend again.
    +1

He's being covered very tightly in recent games, unlike Mills, he doesn't know how to create space.

I find this anti Patty banter quite amusing. If he is such a liability why does POP have him in the squad? I guess POP has a better insight than some of the armchair experts IMHO.

I can agree with some of this.. Of course Patty is not ready to lead a play-off run ahead of TP

At this moment in time he will have a sprinkle of games where he gets hot during the playoffs and contribute significantly - pop just needs to have a quick hook

My issue with this board is no one seems to awknowledge this is a late 2nd round pick during that had a season ending injury his rookie pre-season. Many fans have no idea or just won't believe that a prime Mills can and will develop into one of the best scoring pgs in the L .

I will say if given the same green light Parker had in the 2003 run he would put up comparable or better numbers.

Patty's TS% for last night was 50.23. True Shooting percentage takes into account FTs and 3 pointers.

    Pts * 100
    (2*(FGA + .44*FTA))
