Is 2014 Indiana the biggest self-implosion in history of sports, tbh?

I want pacers to win the series
Why? Wizards are the better team and will challenge the Heat better than the Pacers.

Lets be honest, Wizards wont beat the Heat 4 times. Pacers atleast have shown they can make it to 7 games, their not playing Pacer Basketball yet

at this point I almost hope the Wizards make the east finals... that would be the perfect ending to a year for that conference and hopefully highlights the issues with split conf playoffs

Wizards probably won't beat the Heat but they have a way better chance than the Pacers. Pacers are complete trash.

Neither team is beating the Heat. Pacers may make it tougher, but they will not win.
Wiz backcourt is too young and the Pacers backcourt is too inconsistent.
Only 3 teams can challenge the Heat Spurs/OKC and maybe LAC.

Said that before the playoffs started and I still feel the same. Good news for the Heat they only have to beat one ...

I thought he was going to go out of his slump after the Hawks series. This is all mental imho. Weak pos.

We did but his agent was a prick. Not absolutely sure we win in 2010 without Artest ...we NEEDED him for Pierce. I also dont think we win in 2009 with Artest in Ariza's place, Ariza made some key steals to seal our series vs. Nuggs.

Would rather have Ariza after 2010 though ...
Agreed on all fronts. I just loved Ariza as a Laker. Perfect complement to Kobe. Played the passing lanes. Got a ton of steals. Finished plays. Guarded the best perimeter player - allowing Kobe to do his thang offensively. Made the majority of his 3s. No, he wasn't as strong as Artest to deal with PP, but he fit our team like a glove. Again, he was the perfect complimentary player.

David Lee was also Baby Drew's agent. Even if Baby Drew were to remain relatively healthy, we would have lost Baby Drew due to how much of a prick Lee was. So I don't blame MK for trading him to get D12 even though it was a 1-year rental. I hope MK keeps swinging for the fences.

Wizards are no joke talent wise tbh. You could make the case for them being the 2nd most talented team in the East and probably the best starting unit.

I didn't think Beal would be this solid in his first playoff run and Ariza is going to get himself paid this summer.

I still believe Pacers have it in them, but thats just me, its ridiculous how easy Heat have it.

he will. I have to give him credit for stepping up in a contract year ... but where was this in Houston or New Orleans?
Is he only good when a deep playoff run is on the line? (clutch)
Or does he only play hard fight through injuries when money is on the line? (contract)

I love the guy but do not trust him with big $$$, ask rox fans.

The fact that the Pacers are stuck with Ghill and Hibbert for the next few years doesn't bode well for them

I just don't see the NBA passing up on a IND/MIA ECF.

On the other hand, the Pacers could be so bad that it doesn't matter if Silver tries to rig it for em.
