The blazers were playing against a Houston team that plays one on one defense and had no real scheme. I know the blasters have been successful against the spurs in recent regular season mach ups, but they're about to find out what it's like to go up against a veteran team that doesn't get rattled in the playoffs.

The Dallas match up was a perfect setup for this series. Not only did it wake them up, they had to deal with a shooting big and quick guard. If pop uses green on lillaird, like he should, I see the spurs taking this in six, with two blowouts (one for each), and four really tough games.

Those who watched the Blazers-Rockets series (I live in Eugene, I had no choice) knows how slow those two teams played. Especially towards the end of halves, both teams played extra slow. I wouldn't be surprised to see multiple games where Blazers took a big lead early then the Spurs slowly eliminate that lead and win the game in a fashion that leaves Portland fans wondering how SA won.

I expect it to be loud, we Oregon people know how to make noise for our teams (I'm an Oregon football fan and Autzen can get loud). The one time I went there the Blazers fans were very nice, but their team won by 40 points so it was easy for them. After the Spurs win a big playoff game in their building then we'll see how nice they are.

You do realized he made a similar prediction with Memphis last year right? He picked Memphis to win over the Spurs and Spurs ended up sweeping their asses.

horrible match-up for the spurs IMO..I don't know if people even notice, but the Portland starting 5 play 40 like it's 20..They have crazy stamina, endurance etc..

-Robin Lopez is one of the best big man defenders in the league..Not only will he take duncan out of the game, he's also great at defending and covering Lillard in the pick and roll.

-Parker has always struggled against Batum.

-Wes Mathews is not Calderon or Ellis, the dude can defend..Something tells me Ginobili will play like he's 37 in 5 of the six games they're going to play

-The team can exploit Lillard on the post, but we all know Pop loves to stay within the system and hates calling post up plays for third year players.

- I think Tiago and Boris are going to defend Aldridge well enough to stop him from scoring over 40's, that said, it won't be offense.
