I got a 1-month subscription to ballstreams to check it out, and I have to say, I'm impressed. I'm planning on ditching NBALP for the first time in a dozen years, and upgrading my internet speed so that i won't have choppiness issues. There's even a Ballstreams Roku channel, and the website will work on an iPad too.
Ballstreams is THIS MUCH BETTER than League Pass. I ditched that crap in 2012 and have never looked back. I believe I got a full year, all 30 teams, all HD, ZERO blackouts, for around $80. And you get every single playoff game no matter what it's playing on. My connection isn't the best and I rarely get problems streaming. They even have an android app that has no restrictions, stream all 30 teams and their games to your phone with no added fees. I think I've pitched it enough

    Get Ballstreams, screw League Pass!

Gonna try the vpn trick Mexico-way this evening, thanks for the heads up!!
Eh, I don't know, they recently changed it or something. When I happened to check the MX version of NBA.com during summer league, the only option listed was a $260 pesos subscription fee, but now that's listed as a monthly fee, with a $2,200 pesos annual fee, so about $170 USD for the premium service which offers home and away fees. Sorry for providing outdated information. I might just go with ballstreams myself, after checking it out some more.

No worries, checked out diff countries pricing through the vpn trick and the lowest was $150 for the Premium package, $99 for regular. Think I'll be doing a trial of Ballstreams myself.

Thanks for the confirmation. It's also great because it archives all the games for easy access. I've used it to watch The Finals over again -- awesome! They also have NCAA Tourney games, Team USA from this summer, Summer League, and even the Pistons "30 for 30" ESPN special. Add to that the easy user interface, the rewind/fast-forward options of 10 secs, 30 secs, 2 min, 10 min, 17 min, 30 min, and "custom" - I mean the thing just looks awesome.

Can't wait to view the live-streamed events. I'm updating my internet to the max Uverse has in my 'hood - 45 down, 5 up. Shouldn't have a single issue.

I just signed up with Ballstreams. I'm new, so it was $99, but no big deal. Looks like a great service. I'm looking forward to watching ALL the Spurs games this season, not just the few that are nationally televised.

What kind of internet connection do you need for Ballstreams? My max speed is only 4Mbits, can't get anything faster because of the infrastructure here. I might be able to in 6-12 months time, but as of now, that's the max speed I can get. Can you choose the quality level on Ballstreams like you can on NBA League Pass? I usually have the games running at 1600Kbps on that.

This site isn't legal, right? What happens when the US cracks down, do you get a refund?
