    Regular season fans...

    They never learn.

So I guess your orgasms over regular season games from Kawhi are just as stupid, right?

Yep...let's pay both Leonard and Thompson max deals, so the Spurs can fill the roster out with and get bounced in the second round every year.

Worth every penny if they can get a ring this year. Could hurt them if they have to let others walk.

He was going to be on the team anyway, the extension starts next season.

His extension didn't kick in this year IIRC, they're probably going to lose Green(their 2nd most important player IMO) this off-season, and we'll see about Barnes/Iguodala..

Peja was actually a better passer than Klay, too. But Thompson is an above average defender and athlete at the SG position right now, while Peja was always hidden on defense.

You get so sensitive when Spurs fans clown on anything GS. Are you a fan of both teams?

Everybody loves Golden State, tbh, it has been the case for years..

If you recall the Warriors-Spurs series in 2013, virtually every single person in the media, including the announcers, was openly cheering for the Warriors..

Their players are constantly overrated, too, see: Harrison Barnes being labeled a potential superstar after having a good series vs. the Spurs where Pop was guarding him with 6-foot 3 Gary Neal and 6-foot-1 Tony Parker..

They are that "fun", "likeable" team with the "good guy" image and the "best fans in the NBA"..

Yeah, but he gets really, really sensitive. I think he's from the Bay area, too, which makes sense in a way. I love watching GS play just as much as anybody, but my Spurs always come first obviously. I'll admit that I'm a big fan of Steph-- not so much Klay...

    OOps. Forgot to quote you.

Ah, but the trade isn't Green or Mills, it's Green and Mills, 25% of the playoff rotation. There are also cap implications to paying big money to two wing players, which we would have to do if we got Klay. I'd rather have two pieces that can give you 85% of Klay's production for probably 65% of his salary next year.

Call it sensitive if you want, I just think the anti-hype circlejerk that goes on here is stupid and way overboard at times, and has a habit of making this forum practically unreadable. LOL threads after every loss, ironic or not, hate threads whenever a specific hyped player has a bad game, it just gets exhaustive and pointless to read. I like the Warriors but I don't really feel the need to defend them as much as I feel the need to call some people out on Spurstalk for having terrible takes.

Spurstalk DOES do a good job of chilling a lot of undeserved hype, but they take it overboard. Everything here has to have that edge, and it sucks.

Unless Klay can prove in the playoffs that he isn't a choker, I won't buy into his game. Of course, he's a better player individually than both of those guys, but in the playoffs, I would rather have Danny and Patty.

(-14) against the Jazz. Shows you why you shouldn't knee jerk over one unbelievable quarter.
