    The start to the season was a mirage due to a cupcake schedule, tbh... now that we're playing real teams, our garbage coaching, garbage defense, and garbage O-line is getting exposed. This team will likely win between 7 and 9 games as usual, but we'd be far better off losing out and trying to get the best pick possible.

    Injuries are probably the biggest reason, to be fair..

    San Diego looked like a playoff lock before all these injuries, didn't they?..

    It is a valid comparison. DT drops too many balls too same with Calvin. Even rice, irvin etc dropped passes. But they miss too many for my tastes. But the two GT WRs are genetic freaks while Dez is an amazing athlete and I would rather have him in some cases (toughness) been more reliable in RZ than Megatron ...DT/Calvib size speed-ratio is Lebronesque.

    I have both Megatron and Dez the past 3 seasons. Megatron was clearly two notches better in 2012 but the past two Dez has been better by far. DT is a beast but plays with Manning. with Tebow he was good and would be good anywhere. But dont see a huge gap between him and Dez.

    Injuries are a factor, but not the only one... the defense has been soft chokers the entire time Pagano has been here, if the O-line isn't the worst in the league, it's close, and this coaching staff is just as conservative and pussified as Marty and Norv's staffs.

    Sadly, when you go 5-1 to start the year and have a legit franchise QB, you SHOULD be a playoff lock, but in true Charger fashion, they've choked that away.

    I don't give a damn as long as they win this game. But I'd rather go with the young bloods who have upside. That bird-beard having mofo isn't taking you anywhere no matter how good the defense and ground game is.
