SOme opinions are so off they are idiotic. Manu> Tony right now is one of them and another one is kobe>MJ
Please do explain this further. And don't tell me stuff like TP is still the #1 guy or some generic answer.

Many Spurs fans see parker as a full fledged back up pg at this stage of his career. Those same Spurs fans completely neglect the fact that Mills couldn't even crack the rotation two years ago. It's called "what have you done for me lately" syndrome. It's incurable without a brain transplant.
I agree, love Patty and he had a good run last year in the playoffs no doubt off the bench but he overall is NOT more important for the team than Parker is. I disagree with who says he is, but it is what it is.

at anybody who thinks the Spurs needed Kiwi to beat the dreadful Lakers.

    Duncan
    Green/Kiwi
    TP

Crossing off Ayres, Daye and Bonner, you can throw the other names in a hat and pick blindly. The order doesn't matter

I bet Kawhi begged Pop to let him play once he heard Enrique was sitting out, tbh..

"Damn, I get to touch the ball tonight?!"

If we look at it in a statistical perspective Spurs by WAR so far this season:
    1. Duncan (3.75) 9th in NBA
    2. Kawhi (3.29) 13th in NBA
    3. Danny (2.52) 27th in NBA
    4. Manu (1.42) 58th in NBA
    5. CoJo (0.82) 108th in NBA
    6. Diaw (0.66) 131st in NBA
    7. Bonner (0.64) 137th in NBA
    8. Baynes (0.50) 161st in NBA
    9. Beli (0.15) 227th in NBA
    10. Tiago (0.04) 283rd in NBA
    11. Ayres (-0.01) 355th in NBA
    12. Anderson (-0.01) 359th in NBA
    13. Daye (-0.15) 396th in NBA
    14. Parker (-0.21) 403rd in NBA

Obviously playing time impacts this (so Tiago being so low isn't a surprise) but Parker as being the worst on the Spurs and among the worst in the NBA (out of 430 players), that was surprising.

    Spurs by PER:
    1. Tiago (24.7)
    2. Timmy (22.6)
    3. Kawhi (19.4)
    4. Parker (17.0)
    5. Manu (16.9)
    6. CoJo (16.8)
    7. Baynes (16.7)
    8. Danny (16.1)
    9. Beli (15.1)
    10. Bonner (13.3)
    11. Diaw (12.9)
    12. Ayres (11.3)
    13. Anderson (6.1)
    14. Daye (3.1)

Other than Kawhi who would you consider more important than TD and Manu? I also think a healthy Parker is important to the team playing well. It's not like they have done well without him.

I'm talking about posters that put all the Big 3 over Kawhi. Just look through this thread and you'll find some of those lists.

No offense to any old-school fans, but you would have to be a ing imbecile to think Leonard isn't the most important/valuable player on the Spurs' roster, tbh..
