Wow, watching some of the highlights it's obvious the Spurs played half ass the entire game. Obviously missing Leonard hurt but the Lakers just waltzed in and j*zzed all over the Spurs in OT. Spurs should have won the game by 10 points even without Leonard. They have to play harder, better and smarter that's what won them the championship in 2014. Manu could have iced the game if he had converted the 2 free throws, worse Spurs loss of season as they should have won this sh*t without going to OT.

We lost this game on the defensive end and with turnovers.

It looked to me like Tony left after getting up gimpy-looking after his last turnover. I think he probably shouldn't have played, and I would prefer that he NOT play than play hurt, since he becomes so ineffectual in that.

Manu was in the classic "manu giveth and many taketh away" mode last night. Trying hard, but very inconsistent execution. A couple of truly boneheaded fouls at particularly hurtful times. He made some big shots...he missed some big shots. Classically Manu.

The exact opposite of what I wanted to happen last night. I didn't care if Kobe got his record or not last night, but I wanted us to win the game. As others have mentioned, our team was so determined to deny the record to Kobe, they let their scrubs have career nights at the three point line. Ugh!! STUPID!!

Why the did Splitter only play 15 minutes? Hill and Boozer went off in the paint.
Splitter is coming off injury. Expecting him to log big minutes would be unreasonable, given the history of this coach and franchise. It is what it is. They said to themselves before the game: "Splitter will play x minutes." That's the end of the story. They start scheduling rest days for Tim as soon as the NBA publishes the schedule. The dedication to resting Splitter and bringing him back slowly is admirable. The natural temptation is to play him. It takes great for ude to forego immediate gratification. Splitter was needed.

I've lost complete trust in Manu shooting FTs in crunch time. I just don't get his decline in that area. You could bring out a crippled old Nash and he'd still hit his freebies.
    This has been very disappointing.

I think Tony was on minute restriction, coming from an injury. At least, I'd like to think that's why he didn't play in crunchtime
I think so too. Hamstring tightness. Health in April, May, June is still our number one goal, IMHO.

This loss is on Pop and Manu. Beli and Bonner in overtime? That don't work.

Bryant goes 7-22, yet gets credit for the win because he goes ballistic on his teammates in practice.

    Please...just go away.

And RJ is playing amazingly efficient and productive basketball in Dallas, TBH.
