This team needed a signature loss. Like the every year Bucks loss of years past.
The good thing is, the way things are going, if they make the playoffs, they have a chance to peak in the playoffs.

5 up in the loss column with 26 games to play. Would take a pretty substantial meltdown of winning 40% of games + Suns or Hornets 60%. Though think about how big that Asik tip in looms in retrospect - would be 4 games plus a guaranteed tiebreaker to NO, which they can salvage by winning the last game of the season.
Turnovers, defensive lapses, and inconsistent shooting, right now this team is on a downward spiral, but on the bright side this is the same team that walked away with the Larry O'Brian Trophy they just have to get that chemistry going, and it's not one guy, it's equal opportunity everyone is getting a shot at messing up.

Maybe the team needs a crisis since losing doesn't seem to be enough. Maybe another loss tonight and some sort of self induced implosion needs to happen.
