Very old news and completely off topic, but as we're killing time until the game, thought I'd fire us up by showing the old conversation between TD and the greatest winner the sport has ever seen, who basically states Duncan is his favorite athlete. Appropriate....

P.S. And not only did Timmy get "one more" since this conversation, he may get ANOTHER very soon! Bill Simmons keeps comparing this year's Spurs to the 69 Celtics, no less.

All I know is if the Spurs lose there'll be meltdown from the usual suspects and an abundance of 'Why didn't Kawhi get the ball more?' threads from Apalisoc immediately followed by dabom 30 seconds later with 50 emoticons.

    Can't wait.

DeAndre Jordan expects to spend plenty of time at the free throw line against the Spurs, but said that he wasn't worried about it.

"It’s happened all season, and I feel like a lot of the games that they’ve done it we’ve won," Jordan said in regards to teams intentionally putting him at the foul line. "I’m not really worried about it. When it does happen, which I know it will, I’ll just go to the line and shoot the basketball. It’s not something that I’m dreading, but I’m prepared for it. I’m ready." Despite shooting just 39.7 percent from the line this season, the Clippers are 9-0 when he shoots at least 14 free throws.
    Heh...

Why is this game so late on a Sunday! It'll realistically be a 10:55 EST tip, and with hack a Jordan won't end until 1:45am. The ATL-Nets series should be a 7est tip on local feed/NBA TV.

Ed Malloy is one of the worst officials in the league. Expect Crawford to get numerous calls on his bull leg kickouts. He is the ref who gave Westbrook the tech that got rescinded when it clearly looked like Westbrook did not warrant it. Although his short leash could be good vs the Clippers since they complain often.

Interestingly, Gino did it in 40 less games than Kobe and 78 less attempts. Ray Allen and Reggie Miller though, really off the charts there...

because the NBA didn't want to stick a game in at 1100 am so Lebron could have the afternoon game. There could have been a game at 1200pm EST but who know why they chose not to have one
