Still can't believe Enrique missed this on the break, should have just pulled it out and ran the offense instead of giving Barnes that transition three.

It's sad that Parker and Mills basically swapped positions after 2013.
Kawhi being flat out bad the last couple games really hurt the Spurs. TP was obviously worse overall, but Kawhi let the Spurs down the last couple games in a major way.
On the plus side his teammate's wives will tell him to go off now with that extra 20 pounds and inability to finish.
It's hard to make an impact when you're all over the court on defense. Also, Parker was chucking last night. 21 shot attempts for the worst shooter for the spurs in the playoffs is begging to lose. Parker is just a terrible PG. 16 shot attempts to Kawhi's 5 going into the 3rd (iirc) is no way to win a basketball game. Not sure what you wanted Kawhi to do.
Nothing wrong with that, since Laker fans actually defend overpaying a washed up scrub based on past glory in a supporting role.
Play better defense. Make the shots he was getting. Make more decisive decisions. TP & Kawhi playing bad aren't mutually exclusive. Kawhi was damn bad the last few games & with TP already playing bad it hurt the Spurs.
Tim F'n Duncan has had to carry the franchise for 18 years right now. Players putting on excessive weight in an offseason where they were supposed to rest is just unforgivable tbh.
Guarding Chris Paul, Blake Griffin and Re is an easy task? Green and Splitter were defensively all series. Green had a good G7 but that's about it. If Pop had stuck Kawhi to just Re the Spurs probably win this series. Kawhi was asked to guard 2 superstars and a great 3 point shooter. If Parker wasn't such a liability on both sides of the floor then maybe Kawhi could of had better games 5-7. It starts with Parker though, if your starting PG is chucking away there isn't much you can do.
day 2, the fan fiction was strong but lacked depth. While ostensibly a work of comedy the authors seem to be making themselves the central character and hopefully take this as a opportunity to talk about the wider themes of age and the meaningless of life.
Deep, why did Pop insist on putting Kawhi on CP3 when it really hasn't worked his entire career? Especially when Danny has defended Paul better than anybody from a historic standpoint and Leonard is probably the best offball defender in the league?
its weird because Kawhi was able to guard cp3 in the RS. That's pretty unexplainable, although Cp3 did shoot some insane shots so maybe once he found his shot he was indefeasible.
It was a mistake - one that Pop has made before. It had a lot to do with the lineups Doc & Pop played too. Pop just elected to have Kawhi on CP in those lineups and perhaps with CP hobbled Pop felt the extra length could help & DG could be of use on other players that would be moving through screens more.
Just a perplexing series from Pop. Sure, half the team had a terrible series but there were just some blatantly obvious adjustments that Pop failed to make.
It was a really bad series from Pop. Almost all of his decisions came up lame unfortunately.
I think Kawhi should have stuck to guarding Red and focus on shutting him down. Because he kept getting switched he never really got his defensive mojo. They should have used Kawhi on CP3 a little more judiciously.
hater made a thread after like the first 3-4 games, and Red was shooting like 30% from the field with Kawhi guarding him. Green did a great job on CP3 all series long. Pop deciding to switch the match-ups for no apparent reason was one of the dumbest things I have ever seen from him tbh.
