Maybe Tony would have been in the car, is that what you're saying? JR Smith is the facade that fools even his own team. He's the one who will make the stupid Tony Allen type mistake in a tight situation, get ejected or do something else that makes you scratch your head. Sure he's a willing three point shooter, but he's volatile. He'll do some amazing things, but one day you'll wake up to nothing.
That's because you don't judge an employee by one event when they have tenure and a proven track record.
When the event is setting fire to the company head quarters I beg to differ.
After bringing home #5, Gino was well worth that extension, tbh... , wouldn't be a stretch to say he was underpaid...
For all the great things JR Smith did this postseason with the Cavs, he still has to close the deal...
JR Smith would have a hard time adjusting with Pop and Duncan, just thinking about it. JR Swish is JR Swish because LeBron's style of plays allows him to be JR Swish.
Ginobili´s last contract was right on spot, considering he got 14 million dollars for a very good year on out le run and a bad playoffs this year.
Not to say, he played all of our games during the crucial december schedule where he averaged over 20 points, more than 27 minutes of court time and that clearlly left him with nothing left for the postseason.
But if you think 14 million dollars for a player that was your main creator during round one and conference finals on a le year, had two great games in two of our 4 finals wins last year and also was one of the two main players in closing out Portland and Oklahoma i would say most franchises would be glad to pay that money to someonw who delivers all that during a two year span. Evendoe if it wasn´t enough to win b2b les.
Let´s be clear on this one, we all know which players played below realistic expectations, and Ginobili was not one of them.
Here you have your results haty, a better thread should be ¨Can you imagine if we had Leron instead of Ginobili taking 40 shots a night?¨
I'll take Manu the playmaker over JR the chucker any and everyday of the week.
Jr still better than manu in the finals![]()
Yeah?? How many did he win?
Teams win games imo.
Players try not to have 8 turnovers ihmo
J.R.'s fourth quarter and OT (also missed his only shot of the third):
10:02 - 3pt blocked by Iggy
5:26 - fouls Klay
3:47 - 3pt miss
0:24 - defensive rebound after Irving saved the day by blocking Steph
4:09 - 3pt miss
2:53 - 2pt miss
2:16 - 3pt miss
1:15 - fouls Draymond
No positive contributions in about 20 minutes of play. His shots generally weren't even close. The box score doesn't even account for his lazy defensive rotations or forgetting to foul bad FT shooters. When JR is off, everything's off.
I'll take Manu save the turnovers. Reason Smith doesn't turn the ball over is because he shoots as soon as he touches the ball though.
Still better than 6
james took the whole team out of rhythm with all the iso
he has to keep the others involved somewhat
TOO MUCH ISO
manu would have went cold also
JR Smith ing sucks. He may win you one game in ten but he'll lose you three others.
haha, u still want jr smith now? haha
Backhanded compliment of the day: JR Smith sure looked great against Eastern Conference opponents.
