Obama didn't even work with the Democrats in the House and Senate when he had a majority across the board. He wasn't naive. He was arrogant and he surrounded himself with weak yes men and women and tried to run it like a monarchy and just concentrate on spinning issues with the public. If he ever understood how the government worked he never showed it. He was very badly served by the incompetent Holders, Jarretts, etc. that he surrounded and isolated himself with.
