Just saw it. The movie was real good and stayed pretty much true to the history of the group. I wish they had bridged the gap of why and how The DOC started hanging with Suge. Eazy literally bought DOC a gold chain if he would write the lyrics to Eazy-Duz It album. Its ashamed that cat lost his voice in the car accident. Also, I would have like to see how Cube wound up in NY to cut his first album

My two favorite NWA songs are Express Yourself and Automobile. Automobile makes me laugh every time I hear it.
I found the previews to the movie to be interesting. I still remember parents and politicians going bat- crazy over their music, trying to ban them. All it did was make them out to be outlaws, increasing their coolness levels in the eyes of young hip hop fans across America......even non-hip hop fans.
Alot of their solo songs are better than any of their group songs anyway imo. Crazy the amount of collective talent in NWA though. Cube, Eazy, and Dre were three of the better rappers of the early 90's.

But I do agree he is obviously leaps and bounds better than that got Lil Wayne.

Maybe so, doesn't change the fact Dre wrote ALOT of his lyrics for him. Not sure how someone can be the best rapper of all time when someone else wrote the lyrics for many of their best songs.
His best were without Dre,,,it's not rocket science,,,,
