There's no "all-time greats" list for music

, and writing your own lyrics is irrelevant, too, the actual music is all that matters..if you based it on lyrical ability, the top 10 would be a bunch of underground rappers that nobody has ever heard of..
Anyways, it's all subjective and based on preference..you don't have to like Drake, but he's unquestionably the biggest rapper of this generation..he makes great, versatile music IMO..2Pac is decent, his music doesn't really hold up today, he's like 90s basketball IMO, but it's all subjective, to each their own..
To be fair, personally speaking, I have trouble listening to a lot of old rap today..I loved Jay-Z growing up in NY in my teens, but I can't really listen to a lot of it today..I liked Eminem, too, but I wouldn't be able to stomach listening to his old today, sounds like trash to me..
