- The numbers on the vial that Desmond was injecting himself with were the same as the lottery numbers and the numbers on the hatch.
- The mural on the wall has the number 108. 4+8+15+16+23+42=108.
- I need to get off the computer and back into the real world.

For a second, since they weren't showing his face, I thought it might be a Hurley flashback.
oh wow, I just realized I missed the first few minutes of the show. No wonder I had no idea what everyone was talking about with Desmond. That's what happens when you watch it at 2 am! When it was on I was trying to convince my sis to leave Houston so I missed quite a few parts.
I think next week they're gonna show what happened to the guys on the raft. And that whole Walt storyline is WEIRD! That kid has some weird powers and I think the "Others" wanted him because of that....

-Locke and Sara were both paralyzed before their encounter with Jack.
-Jack's last name is Shepherd (biblical reference)
-The man that died in Sara's accident, had the same last name as Boone and Shannon (Rutherford)
-Desmond meets Jack when they're running stairs. He said he was almost a doctor and that's he doing a race around the world - calls Jack brother (possible dear old dad wasn't as faithful as he should have been - with the Austrailian accent maybe that's the "son" Christian went to see in Australia) Desmond also tells jack to believe he can save his patient
-108 appears on the wall, all the numbers add up to 108

hmmmm..that would be cool..desmond is controlling the beast from the hatch, i think that is for sure.
