This is the way he played for Brazil. I think he just had a difficult time adjusting to the speed of the NBA up to this point. But he certainly made GSW look silly last night. I guess he took his frustration out on them last night.

He made Curry look stupid out there at times. Not an easy thing to do.

Good in' call, RSX. D'Bust leaves the game, Huertas enters, and instantly makes Brandon Bass and Juilan look like all-stars.

    7 dimes in 19 minutes

This Brazilian er has damn vision.

The Huertas/Bass/Williams core is worth building around.

Lakers also need to heist someone for Gordon. Yeah, he can score, but giving up 26 points on 12-12 shooting to Tony Allen

Huertas is legit, it sucks because he plays for the Lakers though I imagine he'll be great on a team like the Spurs or even run the second unit for GS.

Or the Clips. He could set the table nicely for Blake/DJ when Chris Paul needs a blow.

just happy we continue to find brilliant players for cheap mid (nance, Clarkson and now huertas) russell and randle are both improving tremendously and we still got that 1st pick next year. the road to success is being paved by these all star caliber players, tbh

    Good call on Huertas man

Dude looked lost in the beggining and had a few shaqtin' a fool plays but he's been solid for a 30+ year old euroball vet.

In spurts he is fine. he cant play defense and in the beginning he lacked confidence ...
But he brings great vision and energy to the team when he plays.
As a backup he is fine and if you surround him with plus defenders he would have a solid impact for a team that doesnt need a starter.

Five years ago, the Lakers fans were giddy with all the cable TV money they could throw at superstar after superstar. Now they're excited about their 32-year-old backup point guard.
