Tiago. That on court chemistry he had with Patty, Manu and Diaw made them the best bench in the NBA. Also a good screener. David West sucks at setting screens. I don't think I've seen West make contact with anyone when he sets them.

Agreed (except for the "much" better shooter part). Hill just a longer defender. Caveat, Hill is getting long in the tooth, and was developed in the Spurs system. People always seem to overlook that, like with Cojo playing here four years. Ray was developed elsewhere, and has only two NBA seasons under his belt. Despite that, he has improved his overall FG % in those two years, as well as in his short stint this year, he's at .455 in his ten games. He was also shooting the three well in pre-season. With Simmons just appearing out of nowhere, it has put Ray on the backburner. Parker and Patty both healthy. But, I don't think Ray has done anything to embarass himself, thus far. They're developing him, maybe he gets traded, who knows. At the moment, he's just not needed. Had Patty not been injured Cojo would have never gotten so many minutes and had so many infatuated with him. That was a 10 million dollar dunk, and Canadians love him, so there's that.
I don't dislike Ray at all, and think he has potential... someone had said that Hill was a "terrible shooter" and I was debating that. Hill is in the top half of starting PGs in the league now, which is a worthy accomplishment...

Hill and Splitter, but the Spurs had to trade them to get two all-star players (Kawhi and LMA).

I know you mean players still in the league. But imagine throwing Bruce Bowen into this defensive roster.

The problem with wishing for George Hill is that there was zero chance of having both him and Kawhi. Might as well wish for some of the retired guys, since neither could ever happen. If Hill came back here, it would be at/near the end of his career.
Wasn't a big fan of George Hill when he was here, but my co worker who is one of the local club rats is good friends with George Hill (has pictures with him, Andre Roberson, and Blair at his desk) says that Hill really wants to come back to SA after his contract expires and do everything possible to come back. Also his girlfriend is from the Valley, and I think she wants to be closer to her family also.

Cheers for the info. nIn '17 he'll be 31, still might have some good years on him. Could be a good match at the right price.

Am I the only one surprised there isn't a sarcastic "Tony Parker" option?

Georg Hill though for me. One of my favorite short-term Spur players ever. He played his heart out every game.

Hill has shot 37% from 3 over his career. McCallum:32.7%
    Hill's career FG% is 45%. McCallum's is 41.5%

Hill is a much better shooter, and a much better defender. It's not even close.
Toss up the FT % for a PG.

    thanks

It was me, he is a terrible shooter, and passer. he would add absolutely nothing to the bench or the starting lineup. He's good with a camera from what chump dumper/chinook have typed.

Just say no to Tiago 'my bones are made of glass' Splitter.

Man, prime DRob would be amazing in this new NBA.

Of the actives, it has to be Tiago. Second would be Mahinmi who is having an underrated season for Indy.
DRob would be a stud in any era.

Leandro Barbosa. 1 because he could help the flow, 2 because it would take him from warriors.

I'd take Splitter back... Duncan will be retiring and Splitter would be perfect to have back alongside Aldridge.
