Weird. The word "antenna" doesn't show up once and that's the cheapest way to get braodcast channels.

Eh, I get stations all the way from Waxahachie with mine, but KBVO is dicey at best. It varies by location. Make sure you use an honest to goodness directional antenna before trying to on it tho.

I installed Kodi last night to see if it could be a potential replacement for TV.. Pretty much all the TV and movie streams I found on Fusion and Repo are ty quality even though the ones I'm clicking are labeled as 1080p..

You're right though they are scaled down HD for streaming, if you want full HDTV/bluray rips try 2ddl.net with adblock on

Get on their ass if you are having problems. Maybe they need to rewire your or something. TWC is about 10-15 more per month than Grande's Internet, but mine is always 4 mbps faster than advertised, no matter time of day. Send a PM to illusioNtEk, he'll get your complaint handled promptly.

There is a yify addon for kodi too. Kodi is really nice once you get used to it. I use it for everything, there is a feature that will download boxcovers for all your tv shows and movies that will make your pc into a movie jukebox and includes a link to the trailer, cast, and rating on imdb.com I haven't found a better movie player.

Kodi used to be called xbox media center on the original Xbox then xbmc now its called kodi.

Yeah I like the app itself, an open source media center is a great idea.. I just didn't like the video quality on the streams.. There was a bunch of other on there I did like though, like podcasts and .

In my searching for more information regarding Kodi, I also discovered Plex, and installed that on my PC as well. This is a awesome program if you have tons of movies, pics, music etc. on your PC.. It will let you stream from your server PC to anything with the Plex app installed. It also has channel add-ons like Kodi for TV and movies, but I haven't been able to get them to work.. Plex works with Roku too which is a plus for me.

There's an app called plex you could download on the PS3 and 4. Wonder if you can connect the two so you can stream from your PC dirrectly to the app in the console. That would be killer.

I tried it. That is a lot of hoops to get the to work which I didn't get it to in the end.

Download the app on PS3...download the app for PC...turn on file sharing so it recoginzes it on the PS3 etc. I also noticed the computer got mighty slow opening .

PS3 Media Server works just fine so I'll continue using that.

Icefilms.. Tbh the process sucks tho.. I have to click 38 streams to get one that actually plays.

I would say this is not a viable solution as a cable or even Netflix replacement.
