It's either re-sign him or go back to being a perennial sub .500 non playoff team. For a small market team, too many of those type of years = good chance of relocation. Not every team can be the Lakers or Knicks and be a perennial loser and keep a huge fanbase

They will be a 9th seed next season if they give Conley the max & cap themselves out . They could get someone like Jeff Teague/G.Hill for half the price in 2017 or Jrue Holiday for less than the max.

What do you guys think is the cause for this horrible Rockets team tbh? They have all of the talent playerwise to be way better. Lack of effort or caring by the players? Disintrest in playing defense? Firing McHale pretty much caused them to play worse. Tbh you would probably need to move Harden and Howard to improve the team. On the flipside Celtics are playing like its a playoff game every night beating good teams.
