worst move ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jackie Butler. That fat got a $6M contract and spent it all on Cheetos and beer, and then napped through the games. He ultimately cost the Spurs Luis Scola in his prime, and likely a ring or two because of it. I hate that lazy fat bas worse than any of those other guys.

In all my years of Spurs fandom, I had never been so disgusted with a team's playoff performance as I was in 1990 when they got whooped by Golden State. It was embarrassing. The whole city had such high expectations and the let down was the beginning of things to come. Thankfully, Tim Duncan ended all that and put this franchise on the map, securing its place in the NBA history books.
This city is fully indebted to the GOAT and imo, Tim has the right to do whatever he wants when it comes to his future. Playing, coaching, GMing, whatever he wants, the franchise should grant.
Good call. I had high hopes for him and he screwed us all.
THE Alfredrick
Loyola career
A 6'5" (1.96 m) shooting guard from Loyola University Chicago, Hughes averaged 17.0 points per game as a freshman, 25.7 as a sop re, 27.6 as a junior, and 26.3 as a senior at Loyola.[1] Hughes is Loyola's all-time leading scorer with 2,914 points, ranking ninth on the NCAA career scoring list. He holds the school-record for most points scored in a game with 47 against Detroit on Feb. 5, 1985. Hughes was an All-American in 1985 and was a three-time Midwestern Collegiate Conference Player of the Year. Hughes' #21 is retired at Loyola.[2]
NBA career
Hughes played in only one NBA season. He played for the Spurs during the 1985-86 NBA season, appearing in 68 games and averaging 5.2 ppg.
Career:
1985–1986 San Antonio Spurs
1986–1987 Alno Fabriano (Italy)
1987–1990 Chicago / Illinois Express (WBL)
1990–1991 Dayton Wings (WBL)
1991–1992 Louisville Shooters (GBA)
1992–1993 Fort Wayne Fury (CBA)
1993 Quad City Thunder (CBA)
1993 Montreal Dragons (Canada)
1993–1994 Hartford cats (CBA)
1994 Rochester Renegade (CBA)
1994 Grand Rapids Hoops (CBA)
I dont like to talk negatively about folk, but dayum!!!! Look at this career.
I remember Alfredricks rookie season in the NBA and he came out to the courts in the offseason to play some pickup games. This HS kid from John Jay did a windmill slam dunk on Alfredrick....... I was like![]()
I recall the year they drafted him, me and a buddy skipped out of work one afternoon to watch the draft on some new cable channel. When it was announced the Spurs drafted Hughes, I still recall that old, flat top, black horned rim spec wearing announcer say in utter shock and disgust, "Hughes' is a CBA lifer!" Turns out he was right.
Palangi, dabom, and the littleyacht....oh you mean players, my bad
I love how the only shot they could get for the back of the card was one of total confusion!
What I recall is Don Nelson humiliating, intimidating, emasculating, embarrassing Larry Brown BY OUT COACHING him in that series.
It was his signature move.![]()
Haha! There it is!
He absolutely out-coached him. Blurrp, I'm about to throw up. The likes of Vincent Askew, Tom Tolbert, Sarunas Marciulionis, Mario Elie and Tyrone Hill all beating up on our soft ass front court. Then they'd step back and make 3 pointers on us too. Larry Brown had nothing.
How about that giant Indian who was on the bench in street clothes during Kerr's memorable game 6 at Mavs 2003? This guy:

Dude, that's Mengke Bateer, and he's from China. Several people have mentioned him. He was taller than his translator, but the translator had a better jump shot.
Called "der brennende Wolkenkratzer"..."the burning skyscraper"
Drew Gooden
Matt Bonner
Dale Ellis
1.Felton Spencer
2.Gerard King
3.Mark Bryant
I can't believe Julius Nwosu hasn't been mentioned.
Those three aren't even close to worst players ever. Matt has a couple rings.
, Nick, and Centerpiece.
In no particular order.
To be fair Nick was on his last legs and older after a successful career but those other two... Those two man. Nick never should have been overplayed though at that age and with how he performed, he was beyond done in 2006.
