Brenda is a solid song that talks about an important issue, the album as whole wasn't particularly good. Strictly for my z was far better and showed he was much more talented than what his first album showed. His first record he had a song called
Last Words has three legends (Ice Cube, Ice T and 2pac) and he clearly had the best verse of the three.
Keep Your Head Up is significantly better than Brenda, and still holds up 23 years later.
2pac is one of my faves tbh don't care what anyone else says. this one is up there but definitely sounds better as this mashup than the original, imo

I gotta disagree, I think Brenda is a pretty hard hitting song. Especially the last line: Pros ute found slain and Brenda's her name................ she's got a baby. I always found Keep Your Head Up kind of strange when he crucified his mother for being a crackhead on 2Pacalypse in Part Time Mother. My two favorite Pac albums were Thug Life and 2Pacalypse Now, probably his two hardest albums both beats and lyrics.
