I'm a huge fan of both players and have been since they each entered the league. Kawhi is a great player, but Giannis is a freak of nature. He might literally be the next LeBron. At age 22, he's currently top 20 in points, rebounds, and assists per game, 6th in the league in steals per game, and 7th in blocks per game. The only thing he can't do yet is make threes.
He doesn't seem like he will be able to develop the jumpshot he needs to be trully great, imho.

He has shown little to no improvement so far in terms of shooting and it's his, what?, 3rd or 4th season? I cringe everytime I see him take a jumper. Everybody is pulling the Lebron card, but the king never looked so bad taking jumpers. Giannis just doesn't seem to have what it takes to ever be an above average jumpshooter.

fair, although he does not agree, he is one of the most efficient players in the league, so the lack of 3pt is not influencing his game

So why aren't they winning games in the fourth quarter?

The bucks is a case for analysis as they can face the top 3 of the league (Cavs, GSW and Spurs) but have difficulties against weaker teams, imo the return of Kris (before the injury a 20/4/4 guy) will make the team even better

Greek Freak's statline tonight and you guys are jerking off

If you say you won't trade him for Kawhi you are a dumb got
He was in the playoff his 2nd season & got destroyed by the 2015 version of Jimmy Butler. Kawhi in his 2nd year was clamping up PEAK LeBron.

One of the biggest reasons I would prefer Giannis is because he does all of this without a jumpshot. We're a team full of midrange and 3 shooters. Kawhi's shooting is kind of redundant if we already have enough floor spacing.

Obviously at this point Kawhi is a more well rounded player.

Role player doing role player things. Note to Kawhi, stay out of the way son and let the big boys do the heavy lifting.

Turns out, the OP was right. Kawhi IS a role player. It's just that his role is to be a two-way badass.

    Nice job there, OP. Really.
