Obviously it isn't true in reality, but he's better than he's looked in the Spurs' system. Playing alongside Manu and, to a lesser extent, Mills has limited his growth/hidden his abilities.

There were two plays though, that he would have ripped the rim down if they would have thrown it to him. One of them he ran his ass off getting down the court. They don't want to let the bench guy get too uppity, but at least he's made some of the other guys give a about competing.
Some have said that.. in fact want Manu to handle the ball less... some Simmons fans like sasaint.
I don't know where I stand on that. He has gone missing in games to be fair. I think consistency could help my confidence that he would be an answer post Ginobili.. but I don't know...
