Cavs so desperate
I said at the start of the season that I'd rather have Bogut if I knew he'd be healthy for the whole season, but since you can't rely on that, I'd prefer Gasol. I'd take Bogut 9/10 times if I knew he'd be healthy and be able to stay healthy.
I'm assuming here so forgive me... But I'm sure after this 1st half, you're rethinking what you said...
per sports illustrated:
i know the latter is untrue though. article was posted on the 23rd.He is sure to draw interest from contenders hoping to add a rim protector, including the Spurs and aforementioned Rockets. One team Bogut won’t join: the Warriors. Bogut can’t reunite with his old team due to the Zydrunas Ilgauskas rule, which forbids teams from signing a player it traded or released within one year.
I know we're loaded on the frontcourt (in theory) and ideally need perimeter help, but it seems that perimeter help might be a little scarce. Sometimes overkill in one area of a team can mask the lack of perimeter playmaking...I mean, fingers crossed. Bogut would be dying to knock his old team off, bad blood or not.
Close call!!! Spurs could have been the ones stuck with Glass Legs!
He looked fine before the Heat player and his knee collided on that play. He ran out to play defense and their legs or knees collided. It was a freak injury man, if he signed with the Spurs maybe the outcome would have been different. It will be interesting to see if Cleveland waives him if he is out for months. Anyhow tough break for him, it must be really upsetting to be on a new team and get injured and not even be in the game for more than like 2 mins. Really he must be so frustrated right now. This sucks for Cleveland.
Poor LeBron. He needs more help!
I hate being right all the time ...
Is Tiago still on a roster or has he been waived?
Now all they need is for DWill to go down, and they actually get a lot worse than they were before. , they may be already.
LeBron already said he didn't think the Cavs were good enough without help. Now they whole team has to think they're not good enough. THAT's why you don't do that publicly.
Truth.
At this point he couldn't play for any other team in the playoffs. But I don't know how long he'll be out. The Cavs may as well hold on to him unless he's out multiple months (can't come back until the Finals) and they also end up really needing that roster spot. Bogut could still give them 8-10 solid minutes per game in the Finals if he's healthy.
He is still on the 76ers roster.
"it was all good just a week ago...."
That may be the biggest surprise of the whole buy-out/waiver season.
He does. Gets a little with Bogut and bam! injury.
Lebron can't catch a break, tbh.
